So - Blogger only allowed 500 characters for my intro. Here is a bit more about me and the job search process.

First, I work on retainer - that means that companies pay for the search services on a project or hourly basis. I don't "sell" bodies, I don't conduct contingent searches. I represent a real, critical need within my clients and typically, search out for the skills they need among employees of their competitors. This type of recruiting is completely different than most people are used to. In a sense, I am an extension of the staffing department of the company (think outsourcing.) Therefore, my focus is hiring the best person for the role, not getting the first person who will accept the job.

Over the next few posts, I will publish my job search method in individual steps.

Good luck on your job search - If you take the time needed, you will find a great job.
